Sergio Chejfec

                                      Sergio Chejfec is a widely published Argentine novelist, poet and essayist whose books include Lenta biografĂ­a (1990), El llamado de la especie (1997), Boca de lobo (2000), Los incompletos (2004), El punto vacilante (2005) Baroni - Un viaje, (2007) and Mis dos mundos (2008). His work has been translated into French, German, English and Portuguese. He lived in Caracas between 1990 and 2005, where he was editor of Nueva Sociedad, a journal of social sciences, politics, and culture and currently resides in New York. He has been a fellow of the Guggenheim Foundation and the Civitella Ranieri Foundation and has taught in the Creative Writing Program in Spanish on several occasions, most recently in the fall 2009 when he taught a seminar on "Narration and Experience."
